"Of course." She tried to smile, but it came out as more of a grimace. Was it wrong that she'd wanted to actually see him? Spend some time with him? Probably. Since he'd just lost a family and the feelings she had for him were more than platonic. If he spent time here, the loneliness would only catch up to her and she'd end up doing something she'd regret. At least with him gone, the only two options were Charles and Hank and Charles had never been an option she could have.
