In all honesty, part of him feels like he won't ever do enough to repay her, but as long as she stayed, he would be sure to continue making his gratitude known.
He allowed his earlier comment to linger far too long for his liking, scrutinizing the metamorph in front of him. Something felt ... off, although he couldn't quite put his finger on it-- like there had been words left unvoiced between them.
Perhaps in Raven's favor, Kurt reconsidered asking about it, which left him floundering for something to say in response to his mentor's compliment. (Was that what it was?)
After taking a moment to clear his throat, "I'm happy to hear that." There's also a bit of apprehension, but he's got better things to think about. She'd said his heart was in the right place! "Not to mention, I really like the school and being able to freely do things with my fellow mutants is fantastic."
